A George III silver teapot, maker's mark worn, London, 1778, of oval form with repousse foliate and scroll decoration, 24cm long, 406gms, 13.07ozs
Overall condition is good. All marks are clear and legible. There are no creases or dents other than a small crease to the lower part of the spout. There are no signs of any erasure or thinning. There are no signs of any repairs or restoration. The hinge is slightly sprung so the lid does not sit absolutely flat.
